Trapp confirms rejection of ManUnited: “Decided for Eintracht”
Will Kevin Trapp join Manchester United? No! The goalkeeper has now officially confirmed to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt.
“There has been a lot of talk about Manchester United’s interest in the past few days,” Kevin Trapp admitted to the Bild newspaper . The 32-year-old explained: “It is correct that there is a written offer. Manchester United is a world club. I hope everyone can understand that I am dealing with such an offer and thinking about it.” However, there will be no move to Old Trafford.
“I have absolute confidence in us”
“Yesterday I informed those responsible at both clubs that I had decided on Eintracht,” revealed the international goalkeeper: “I experienced something sensational here with Eintracht and we made history together. The start of the season was bumpy, but I have absolute confidence in U.S.” Trapp will therefore stay with Eintracht Frankfurt. Whether he will extend his contract, which expires in 2024, is still pending.
