Kahn backs Nagelsmann: “Totally convinced of Julian”

Kahn backs Nagelsmann

At FC Bayern, after the 0-1 draw against FC Augsburg, the question of a coach inevitably comes up. However, Julian Nagelsmann has the backing of CEO Oliver Kahn.

On Saturday, FC Bayern was without a win for the fourth time in a row in the Bundesliga. Even more bitter: there was even a 0-1 defeat against FC Augsburg. The house blessing on Säbener Straße is therefore a little crooked. But Julian Nagelsmann does not (yet) have to fear for his job. “We are totally convinced of Julian,” Oliver Kahn told Sport1 on Sunday .

“Of course the coach is concerned, everyone is.”
The head of the record champions meanwhile made the professionals responsible: “Of course the coach is concerned, everyone is doing that, we are in a bad mood. Some players have probably believed that you can let the Bundesliga run on the side. That is not possible .” According to the TV broadcaster, Nagelsmann sought to talk to his players before the visit to the Oktoberfest before the international break. Even after the defeat on Saturday, the 35-year-old trainer was self-critical. “I think about it and then we’ll see how it goes. I think about everything: about me, about the situation, about everything,” said Nagelsmann.
